Q: How Many People Will Clean My Home?
A: Under normal circumstances we will send one maid to clean your home. If it is an unusually large job, we may send more than one maid.
Q: Will The Same Person Clean My Home Every Time?
A: That is our intention. All of our maids provide the same consistent service to each of our customers. Rest assured that you are receiving quality service regardless of who your assigned maid is. Nevertheless, if you would like to make a change, please do not hesitate to ask.
Q: Do I Have To Sign A Contract?
A: No, there are no contracts. We do have a 48 hours cancellation policy. If you fail to cancel your appointment 48 hours before or you reschedule less than 48 hours before your appointment, you will be charged a $60 courtesy fee. Each day our maids are provided their cleaning schedule. Failure to provide advance notice directly affects the schedule of both our maids and our other clients.

Q: Do You Carry Insurance For Damage?
A: Yes we do. While our maids are trained extensively before entering your home, all accidents cannot be prevented. In the event of an accident, our maids are directed to contact our office immediately. We will do everything in our power to have the item replaced or repaired if necessary.

We do recommend that clients place extremely fragile items out of harms way, prior to their appointed cleaning day, to ensure accidents are minimized.
Q: Are You Bonded For Theft?
A: Yes we are. You should be aware that insurance only pays upon conviction of the accused. As such, we take every precaution to minimize the potential for theft. We only hire the best. In addition, background checks are preformed on all of our maids prior to hiring. Only one maid is sent to your home at a time and our preference is to complete our work when you are at home.

Given the nature of our business, our maids are aware that they are the first to be accused if an item is misplaced or missing from a customer's home. As such, our maids are extremely cautious to ensure that nothing is moved or misplaced while in your home.
Q: Do You Provide The Cleaning Supplies Or Do We?
A: Our fee is based on using your cleaning supplies. If you do not have cleaning supplies, we would be glad to send you our "Le Twinkle Starter Package", which contains all the cleaning supplies you will need to keep your home spotless. Our starter package is the perfect solution for the busy mom or professional on the go. Clients requesting a starter package must order services at least 5 days in advance.

We are not liable for any possible damage caused by the cleaning supplies you choose to use, so please choose responsibly. We have a list of suggested products if you decide to purchase your products yourself. You will be expected to provide a mop/bucket, vacuum cleaner and broom.
Q: How Will You Gain Access To My Home?
A: Our preference is to perform our services while customers are at home. We are available to perform our services in the evening hours. Nevertheless, after forming a durable relationship with our customers, many prefer to allow us to enter and clean their homes in their absence.

We will not take keys from our customers, so in your absence you will be responsible for making arrangements to grant your maid entrance. Many of our customers, who do not live in doorman buildings, often make arrangements with neighbors to provide our maids' access to their apartments. If your maid is unable to gain access to your home for a regularly scheduled cleaning, you will still be charged.
Q: Do I Have To Do Anything Before My Maid Arrives?
A: We ask that you pick up clothing, toys and other household items. Your maid will not know where your personal items belong and we prefer that she not go into your closets or drawers to put things away.
Q: My Cleaning Is Scheduled On A Holiday?
A: We will contact you to reschedule your appointment.
Q: Can I Reschedule An Appointment?
A: Of course, you must reschedule at least 48 hours in advance. If you seek to reschedule or cancel an appointment less than 48 hours away, you will be charged a $60 courtesy fee.

Q: How Should I Pay For The Service?

Q: Do You Check The Backgrounds Of Your House Cleaners?
A: Yes. We have stringent hiring guidelines. All maids must have verifiable references, a history of stable employment, absence of criminal history and the minimum of a high school diploma. All maids are also subject to random drug testing.

Our residential housekeepers respect customers by never eating, drinking, smoking or using appliances during home cleanings.
Q: Why Does The Initial Clean Cost More?
A: During the Initial Clean, we will perform a "deep clean" ensuring that all areas of your home are cleaned to Le Twinkle's standards. Following this initial cleaning, our job will be to maintain your home.
Q: Why Do You Provide Flat Rate Services?
A: We would like for you to know exactly how much maid service will cost you. We are not here to nickel and dime you. We pride ourselves on providing the average New Yorker premium maid service at an affordable rate. After the Initial Clean, our job will be to maintain your home for you.
Q: What Form Of Quality Control Do You Provide?
A: Our maids are provided a checklist of areas within your home to clean. Following your cleaning you will be provided an online survey, where you will be given the opportunity to rate your maid and provide comments.
Q: What About My Pets?
A: If you have a pet, please let us know prior to your cleaning to ensure your maid is not allergic to your animal. If you think that your pet could serve as a problem please make temporary arrangements, while we clean your home.
